The Weill Cornell Graduate School (WCGS) promotes public awareness and understanding of science through science outreach initiatives. By contributing to science education and mentorship in the broader community, the WCGS students, faculty and staff help to spread enthusiasm for the STEM fields among youth in the New York City area.

Weill Cornell Medical School and Graduate School Convocation and Commencement Exercises

The Weill Cornell Medical School and Graduate School Convocation and Commencement Exercises will take place on Wednesday, May 26 and Thursday, May 27 2015, respectively.

Be sure to pick up your cap and gown and submit your Diploma information from the Registrar’s office.

The 35th Annual du Vigneaud Symposium

The 35th Annual du Vigneaud Symposium will take place Thursday, April 30, 2015. The du Vigneaud Symposium represents a unique opportunity for graduate students to present their research to peers and receive evaluation and commentary from faculty members. As participants will receive valuable written responses from 2-3 faculty members in relevant fields where the best eligible posters and talks, as decided by faculty evaluations, will be recognized at the symposium reception as well at Commencement in May.
