Bio

Research into the immunobiology of allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation and adoptive cell therapies may be instrumental in developing effective cancer treatments. Our laboratory’s program of research has as its goal the elucidation and therapeutic exploitation of the biology of cell-based adoptive immunotherapies used in conjunction with allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplants. These transplants are designed to confer enhanced tumor resistance to patients transplanted for hematopoietic malignancies and to promote reconstitution of immunity to viral pathogens in the post transplant period.
