Wondering what it's like to be a student here?
Hear from past and present students, learn about our community and discover why Weill Cornell is a one-of-a-kind graduate school.
"Faculty members are approachable and supportive. I feel comfortable dropping by their lab to ask for advice, lab-related or not."
The Upper East Side provides a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of more crowded areas of the city. Small cafés and eateries line the streets, and every modern convenience is just a block or two away. The majority of students choose to live just a short walk from classrooms and labs in on-campus subsidized housing, which further strengthens our sense of community.
The Graduate Student Executive Council (GSEC) acts as a liaison to WCGS leadership and advocates for students’ administrative, academic and social needs. As such, the GSEC organizes several social events throughout the year, including a Halloween party, winter ski trip and end-of-the-year formal. Our administration is receptive to students’ needs and genuinely cares about students’ academic success, happiness and well-being during their time at Weill Cornell. Student Government (GSEC)
