Course Description

The course is designed to introduce students to the theory and instrumentation of optical and electron microscopy, as well as explore research and clinical pathology applications.

Course Objectives

The goal of this course is to provide students with a working knowledge of a wide range of techniques in optical and electron microscopy that are used in medical research and clinical practice. This field has undergone extensive growth in recent years. In order to cover all methods appropriately, the two course directors offer complementary expertise in biochemistry and pathology.
