Learning how to effectively communicate one's science is an important skill to acquire during the PhD training. BCMB student seminars involve two 30-minute research-in-progress presentations from BCMB graduate students, to be scheduled at the beginning of each academic year.
Required in Year 1-5
Year 1 & 2: Attend and critique talks
Year 3: Attend, critique talks, and present a 15 minute talk
Year 4 & 5: Attend, critique talks, and present a 25 minute talk
