The abstract deadline for the NY Graduate Student Symposium on Cell and Cancer Biology has been extended to March 1 for talks and March 23 for posters or attendees-only.
Register here for the symposium.
This one-day meeting will take place at the Zuckerman Research Center Auditorium on Thursday, March 24th, 2016 from 9:00 am-6:00 pm.
The symposium will include 12 talks given by graduate students selected from abstract submissions as well as a poster session module, followed by a wine and cheese networking event at 5:00 pm. Breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks will be provided throughout the day. Interactive feedback on presentations and posters will be encouraged in the form of a vote for 'best talk' and 'best poster.' Winners will receive valuable prizes.
This symposium will provide a great opportunity for graduate students from New York local institutions to interact, share knowledge and learn new techniques in cancer research, cell biology and related disciplines. All PhD and MD/PhD students are welcome to participate in this great opportunity to shine by presenting their work and interacting with their fellow colleagues.
The symposium will also promote networking between local colleagues to encourage interdisciplinary collaborations between PhD and MD/PhD students from different New York institutions.
