    Our Students

Our graduates pursue a wide range of career paths after completing the program.

Approximately half of our graduates launch careers in industry immediately after completing the program. Recent job titles include Data Scientist, Bioinformatician, Quantitative Analyst, and Bioinformatics Engineer. Our alumni have joined a wide range of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare organizations, including Bristol Myers Squibb, Merck, Tempus, AbbVie, among others.

Approximately one-third of our graduates enter PhD programs directly after graduation. Alumni have pursued doctoral training at Weill Cornell, Columbia University, Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Washington, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and other leading institutions.

Some graduates begin their careers as research associates in leading academic laboratories before transitioning to industry or pursuing further training. Alumni have held research positions at a number of institutions, including Weill Cornell and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

I have enjoyed exploring a bunch of different areas of research, specifically those to which I was completely new. Everyone here has been extremely supportive and there has been a lot of room for growth. Overall it's been really fun figuring out what I'd like to do moving forward.

    Alum

Weill Cornell is unique in how focused it is on medical science research. There is no other institution where I can so easily find professors to collaborate with for clinical research. In the short time I have spent in the program, I have meaningfully contributed to several projects that will be published.
