Prerequisites: PAS 6110, PAS 6210. This course further explores concepts introduced in medicine and surgery lectures, with an emphasis on emergent care and life-threatening illness and injury. Common presenting complaints seen in emergency medicine settings, and their diagnosis and treatment are addressed. It explores emergency medicine both as a field of study and as a medical specialty.
