SE3 PAS 6600 PSYCHIATRY

This course introduces the student to the fundamentals of common behavioral abnormalities and their treatment as encountered in clinical practice. Topics include the professional-patient relationship, reactions to history taking and physical examination, stress and coping mechanisms, detection and treatment of psychiatric complications, and management of death and dying. (1.5 credits)
